
Use the camera in your device to take pictures or record video. Using the camera is possible even in dim environments; the LED flash will give you the light you need.

To activate the camera, open the lens cover. If the camera is active in the background, and the lens cover is open, press the capture key to activate the camera.
While capturing images, you can leave the camera open in the background and use oher applications. To do that, press the menu key. To return to the camera, press and hold the capture key.
Your device supports an image capture resolution of 2584x1938 pixels (5 megapixels). To ensure good quality photos, wipe the camera lens with the cleaning cloth included in the sales package.

If the camera is in video mode, to switch from video mode to image mode, select

on the screen.
To lock the focus on an object, press the capture key halfway down (not available in landscape or sport scene modes). A green locked focus indicator is displayed. If the focus was not locked, a yellow focus indicator is displayed. Release the capture key, and press it halfway down again. You can also capture an image without locking the focus.
Turn on the camera's flash to take better close-ups in dimly lit areas. Using flash also helps to avoid blurry pictures.
Flash is set to Automatic by default, and it is used if the light level is not sufficient. You can also set it:
To zoom in to or out of the picture, use the volume/zoom keys on your device. You can also slide the zoom slider on the touchscreen. Note that zoom enlarges the part of the picture you are zooming in on and using zoom can lower image quality.
