To plan a route, go to Maps view.

1. Select your starting point by tapping the location on the map. Wait until the map moves to the correct place.
2. The address is shown in the top-left corner. Tap that information area and select Add to route.
3. The results show you the address and selected transport mode (Walk mode/Drive mode). You can change that by tapping it.
4. To define your destination and/or more locations for your route, select Options > Add route point. You can choose the next route point from different alternatives, such as your current position (My position), from the map or an address.
5. Once you have selected the route points, you’ll see all of them on your screen. You can easily modify any of the points by tapping it.




Tip! If you add many locations to your route, you can change the order of the locations. Tap the location, select Move, and select the new place for it by tapping the place.

6. When your route is ready, select Options > Show route to see the route on the map.
7. To start navigating, tap the information field in the top-left corner. From the list shown, you can also save the route, preview it, or edit it.

From the settings, you can make selections to support your personal needs. For example, you can choose whether the device suggests Drive mode or Walk mode as the default. If you select Drive mode, you can choose the fastest or shortest route, or other criteria that affect the suggested route. To do the settings, in Maps view, go to Options > Tools > Settings > Route.
