Getting started and connecting your device
Installation
Check the compatibility list, Operating system requirements and if ok, download the application from the Nokia web site. After download, unzip the application (if necessary), and drag into your applications folder. Double click on the application to launch it.
Connecting your device
You can connect your device using Bluetooth or USB cable. If you plan on transferring media files, USB cable is recommended as it is faster.
Connecting your device using USB
Perferably with Nokia Multimedia Transfer running, plug the USB cable into your device and the other end into a USB port on your Mac. If your device shows a USB prompt, select “PC Suite” or “Nokia”.. Note you can make this the default mode by going to “tools” “connectivity” “USB” on your device (this can vary depending on your product, please check your user guide).
Connnecting your device using Bluetooth
Turn Bluetooth on your device by going to “tools”, “Bluetooth” (this can vary depending on your product, please check your user guide).
Click on the Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon in the meny bar, select “tools and settings”, then “add device”. If you have previously connected your device, it may be listed. If it isn’t listed, click on the “Open Bluetooth Setup Assistant” button and follow the instructions
