S60 Nokia Messaging Chat

To use Messaging Chat, you must first open the application on your mobile device. On most devices, the application should be available by selecting Menu > Installation > Chat. If you don’t have Chat on your device, you can download it from the Ovi Store at store.ovi.com.

When you open Chat, a list of available IM “communities” (like Ovi, Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger) is displayed. Select the community or communities you want to sign in to. To sign in, you will need to have:

-An existing account with the chosen IM community
-Your existing sign-in credentials, such as user name, screen name, or email address
-Your password

Get started using Chat:

1. Open Chat on your mobile device.
2. Select the IM community to which you want to sign in.
3. Enter your user name or screen name and password.
4. Select Sign In.
