When I try to login, my email address character "@" is changed to a "^" character and my login fails. What can I do?


On the login screen the "@" symbol will be changed to "^" symbol because of the login procedure that we use. Your email address will be saved in the correct way and this should not prevent your login.

How can I start, end or make changes to my Careers Watch?


When you set up a Careers Watch, it is mandatory to enter your email address. A link through which you can make changes to your Careers Watch is sent to you via email after you set up a Careers Watch. The same link is sent each time you are emailed information about a job.

Why is it not possible to search for vacancies in a certain city/country?


It could be that there are currently no open positions in that city/country. If you want to be informed of possible new positions in that city/country, please set up a Careers Watch. By setting up a Careers Watch, you will be kept up to date on positions that become available in the city/country in question.
It is also possible to fill out an open Candidate Profile, in which you may specify where you would like to work. This open Candidate Profile may then be made available to hiring managers who may contact you if a suitable position opens up.

How can I submit my CV via email?


Unfortunately, we can not accept CVs via email. Instead, please submit a Candidate Profile. This way your CV will be available to many hiring managers and recruiters, instead of just the ones that have received your CV via email. More information on the Candidate Profile can be found here.

How can I apply for a trainee (internship) position?

How can I apply for a thesis worker position?

Why does my session time out?


The session timeout is 90 minutes per page. This means that when first entering the system, there is 90 minutes to fill in basic data. Then, when the "next" button is clicked, the timer is reset and there is 90 minutes to fill in the "CV/Resume" page. This happens for each page. The session times out in order to protect your information and is also security feature.

When will my Candidate Profile expire?


The Candidate Profile is valid for 4 months. 2 weeks prior to the the profile expiring, you will receive an email informing you that it will expire and asking if you would like to prolong your profile for another 2 months or if you would like to remove it.

What browser version does the Candidate Profile require?


The Candidate Profile supports version 5.5 and higher of Internet Explorer and version 4.75 of Netscape and higher. Other browsers may also work but are not specifically supported.

How can I change my email address in my Candidate Profile?


To change your address all you need to do is click this here. You will be asked to login with your old email address and password. Then you will be able to enter your new email address.

How can I add an attachment to my Candidate Profile?


When filling in your Candidate Profile, you need to click the "Browse" button and then locate the file on your computer. Once you have located the file, click "Open" and the file name will then be shown on the Candidate Profile form. Just be sure to submit your profile and then the attachment will be included. Please note that for security reasons, only certain file formats are allowed (.rtf, .doc, .pdf) and all files are scanned for viruses.

How can I be sure that my application has been received?


When you apply for a position, you will see a thank you message on the screen. Additionally, an email confirmation will be sent to your email address in 4 hours. Your application will also appear in the "Recruitment Activity" section of your Candidate Profile where you can see the status of your application.

When can I expect feedback on my CV?


Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to every CV that we receive. You will be contacted only in the event that we move forward with your application.
